Venya Son (Veniamin Sonin) is an artist from Ukraine. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from NTUU KPI in Kyiv and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Illustration from Bau in Barcelona.
Venya’s distinctive art style can be characterized by a vivid color palette, intricate doodling, and a strong influence from old-school cartoons. He is an accomplished illustrator and graphic designer, frequently collaborating with clothing brands, while also exploring experimental art forms such as installations, sculpture, and animation. A noteworthy aspect of Venya’s artistic work is his street art, which is executed exclusively using spray cans. Currently, Venya is based in Barcelona, where he continues to create compelling art pieces across a range of media, including canvas, typography, and graphic design.
